Back @ Kuala Lumpur
What a trip we had and now Micah and I are back in Kuala Lumpur for 3 weeks before heading to Australia for 3 months. David is still in China finishing up some work before joining us in KL enroute to Australia.
I flew back with Micah on Saturday night and arrived at 4.20am. It was my first flight alone with Micah but it was manageable because I had friends with me. Mike and Ling were really thoughtful and helped me with our bags. It was still a tiring flight because I couldn't really sleep - I kept waking up to check on Micah in the bassinet. He didn't fuss much - only once when I picked him up prior to landing and another time just as we were arriving home in a taxi.
It was Sunday, the day we arrived and we made full use of it to rest up. Yesterday was a public holiday to celebrate Deepavali and my sister and family took the opportunity to have a picnic at the park. We went along and enjoyed ourselves. And yesterday is another milestone for Micah which I want to record - he started semi solids! A few mouthfuls of cereal for a start. He really didn't take that much - most of it came out of his mouth and dribbled all over :)
I am still tired out from the traveling and hope to catch up with my blogging soon. I took so many nice pictures of the kids and can't wait to post them up. I also had the opportunity to eat some nice food which I want to post on Makanning.

Traveling China
We are traveling again and this time with 2 other families - altogether, 6 adults, 2 kids and 1 baby. We've already done Shanghai and we are now in Xian. Although I've been to both places, it is still nice to travel with friends and playing host. The most meaningful part is being with my 2 closest friends plus having Harry and Joshua around is a bonus. Joshua is my godson and today we are babysitting him while his parents are off to see the Terracotta Warriors.
Micah has been great all this while. He did have a bit of a cold before we started this trip but he's alright now and has been little trouble. So while the others are out touring the sites in Xian, Micah is catching up on his sleep and we get to rest before flying off to Beijing.
I can't wait to see Beijing again. David somehow wiped out all my photos from my first trip there so I am eager to take more pictures this time round and maybe throw in a bit of shopping and lots of eating. I'll probably be able to post them after our trip ends when I am back in Kuala Lumpur.

Bucking Bronco
Someone tell me how to rotate a video taken in potrait!!
Just tilt your head to watch the video for now until someone teaches me how to fix this :) By the way this is Micah's new trick. It looks as if Irma is using her hands to move him up and down but you will realize after watching a while that he's doing it himself! One time, he lunged forward which frightened all of us so much.
Happy watching!
Note: I learned to rotate my video using Windows Movie Maker. Yeah!
Now you can rest your neck :)

Here is another video of Micah talking to his toys. Quite funny to see him fuss when it drops out of his hands. I am such a sadist!

A Walk in the Park
Two weeks in Kuala Lumpur passed by quite quickly. It was a packed schedule, meeting up with family, friends and stocking up on food items - we are trusting China made food less and less.
We feel really blessed that many friends organized dinners or lunches to fellowship and to see Micah. Not only did we enjoy the food but catching up was the highlight.
On the day before we left for Ningbo, it was the second day of Raya holidays and my sister had planned on an outing to Kiara Park - a picnic, she said. Unfortunately everyone woke up late and I went and agreed to have brunch with a friend. All was not lost because when evening came the weather was excellent and it was cool.
So we packed everyone into the car, equipped with picnic mats and toys for playing sand. My nephews, Ryan and Sean were definitely excited - they haven't been to the park for sometime. Micah was still in a daze, having woken up from his nap and then full on his feed.
Poor Micah could only watch his cousins play in the stream. He showed his excitement by bouncing on David's lap. This is his new trick. At first, it looks as if he is being bounced up and down but you'd then realize that he is doing it himself, using his legs and arms! Sometimes he tries to bounce forward :)
We were there only a short while but we all enjoyed ourselves.
